Open 2.6 Diesel Season Opener - May 25
The USA-EAST Open 2.6 Diesel 4x4 Point Season begins on Saturday, May 25 at the Roaring Knob Motor Sports Complex in Markleysburg, Pennsylvania. The pull begins at 6:30pm. Entry will be open from 4:30pm to 6:30pm.
WHERE'S THAT??
The Roaring Knob Raceway is located on the south side of US Route 40 (National Road) about 20 miles east of Uniontown, Pennsylvania and just 15 miles from I-68 in the Maryland/WV panhandle area. Your hauler will get a work-out -- this is in the mountains!
WHAT SLED??
One of Richard Love's 'Decision Maker' Sleds will be used.
WHAT IS THE PURSE??
400 – 300 – 200 – 150 – 125 – 100 – 80 – 65 – 55/
HOW MUCH IS ENTRY FEE??
$25.00 per entry
IS THIS A POINTS PULL??
Points will be offered in two different series: (1). USA-EAST Season Points and (2) Global Truck Outfitters Series. USA-EAST member automatically collect points in Both.
DO YOU HAVE TO BE A MEMBER IN ORDER TO PULL??
No membership is required in order to hook and pull. However if you want to collect point with USA-EAST in 2013, you must be a member.
WHAT ABOUT THE 'GLOBAL OUTFITTERS SERIES' POINTS??
This is the first of six hooks in the GTO Series. You do NOT have to be a member of USA-EAST in order to collect points in this series. But you must complete an authorization form (no cost) in order to get points in the GTO Series in 2013.
DO DRIVER'S GET IN FREE??
Yes Driver AND one Helper get in free. Everyone must pay the Pit Gate Fee of $25.00 - even Driver and Helper. When you come to the USA-EAST entry trailer, you each will be refunded your $25.00.
ABOUT HOW MANY TRUCKS HAVE SIGNED UP FOR USA-EAST POINTS IN THE 2.6 DIESEL CLASS THIS YEAR??
As of today, there are seventeen (17) trucks signed up for points. We would expect six more to actually join at Roaring Knob before the pull so that they can also collect points. Memberships are open through out the season.
WHAT IS THE CLASS ORDER AT ROARING KNOB??
The 2.6 Diesel are scheduled in the middle of the show. The class will NOT be the last class of the evening!!!!
CAN A WORK STOCK DIESEL PARTICIPATE JUST TO SEE HOW IT WILL DO??Off the highway and daily drivers are always welcome at USA-EAST events unless the pull is an 'invitational'
