Just a little update on our build, we're planning on making our first hook with this setup this Friday in hustler Wisconsin. That is if we can get our hood together and get it fired before then

I'm glad to hear this project went somewhere. Any info or pics on the build?

First hook on it was at Monroe WI at the cheese city challenge, second was at Platteville WI. Didn't have a tach at Monroe but did by Platteville neither of these runs were any good and found a problem with the turbo and swapped it for a different one. Made a pass at monroe this weekend went 160 foot and got some good data to work with. Only one hook left this year at Richland Center WI on October 13, hopefully we will be able to make a better run there. Also 2 other guys are shooting to have theirs out by then, one is just having the motor rebuilt the other is still finishing the original build.

Are you able to share pictures of this little rig yet? I'd sure like to see it!

I upload through flickr.com. I've never gotten the in-site upload to work.

This tractor is a big learning curve. There was no dyno time nor test runs before we took it to the track. We had someone do the machine work on the block and head and we had to go back and redo quite a bit of machine work because it was not correct then we balanced it ourselves and assembled the motor ourselves.

Excited to see this in a puller. I run with my uncle in a SSD tractor. You have my attention with this mini rod . We too do most of our adjustments based off data from previous runs. Ill be sure to look for it in any videos posted from Richland. Best of luck!
