Getting a few parts fabricated. The 2” Tube im using for traction bars had a previous life in my living room as a railing.

Opened up a 6” stack and added in about 2” of material.

Going to start collecting parts for a 47rh shortly.

Theyre not. Only 2wd tire chain launches. Front end needs seals and ujoints before i stick the front driveshaft in it. And may as well wait til i get a 47 to hack up the driveshaft.

Is that a screen in your dash?

Interior looks sharp! Snow melt enough yet to attempt a good boosted launch with your new found air?

Nah just a steel plate to cover the missing radio hole.

Trans is dying quick so haven’t been able to make a serious run with it. It for sure has more snort at WOT than feels safe

I’ve got a light load stutter/choppy exhaust note which seems to be a DV issue. Going to try a set of 024s

Burst a heater hose the other day at full throttle and coolant stained everything. So thought may as well change out the DCEC oil cooler gaskets I used(junk). Got some supplies for 1/2” fuel line, mounting both Cat filters under the hood and dual feeding the pump. 024 dvs coming.

Changed out all the 3/8” fuel lines for a 5/8” line from sump to LP, 1/2” to filters and 1/2” dual feed to pump. That got me nearly 10psi more fuel pressure throughout the RPM range.

Changed to a set of Rich dzls 024 DVs which totally got rid of the stutter. Idles smooth and strong. Blew a boot at the first full throttle run, hardly any load with the tires spinning and 3rd gear slipping. Time for a 100 psi boost gauge.

Next up will be the traction bars, dual intake horn, and trans build.

Looks good, and sounds like it works well!
Won’t that 1 filter be a bit of a pain to change tho?

Dont waist your money or time on a dual intake horn. Makes no difference, on a stock type head.
