are you drilling and taping the stock sprag race or are you using the AA bolt in race?

Drilling and tapping the stock sprag. Only using the template from the A&A kit, and actually my buddy knocked out the inserts and got one smaller one and one for the tap which is pictured. I’m using a #3 bit and tapping the threads to 1/4-28 using 1” UHL ARP bolts to bolt it in. Tapping case and sprag. Not drilling threw the sprag either. I left about .100 material from going threw.

gotcha, I've consider doing it that way too. You using a carbide drill and tap? Or just going real slow?

I ended up hardening the stock sprag so much I couldn't get more than a dent in it.
I just ordered a kit from.... somewhere in canada? name escapes me.

I used cutting oil, a smaller cobalt bit (for hardened steel) to drill a pilot hole, Then followed threw with the #3 bit that came with the 1/4-28 tap. I attempted it with a HSS bit first which took forever. Using the cobalt bit first cut time in half.

Fiberglass bedsides, and bigger digger paddles I picked up from my buddy Ric. Carbon fiber SRT hood I picked up yesterday from my buddy Gabe which was Ric’s, and Woosleys before that. And I got my TCI transmission line pressure gauge installed.
