- An android phone. Or Apple if you're a hippie. Can just be a cheapie, needs bluetooth 4.0 to work with:

Works quite well. A decent quality bluetooth DMM with logging for $50.
- Your favorite diesel type K thermocouple. What do people use anyways?
Plug the thermocouple into the DMM, connect the DMM to your phone, and you have cheap EGT datalogging!
