A s464 on a ve has to be a turd. Why the choice in charger, sledpulling?

I've run a set of Scheid EDM 6x16s. Made 489 with the 12mm VE and HT3B/S362 (80lbs/min) through a non lock-up A518. After some miles, one of the nozzles spit. Not too long later, a second spit.

- I've a set of six (6) Scheid EDM 6x16s for sale.

Replaced them with some 5x18s that were flow-honed to match the flow of the former 6x16s. Then had a little pintle work done. Put some new spinny-things on it effectively doubling the air (150lbs/min). Torched the newly, renewed rear axle.

Waiting on axle parts.

What does the S464 move and when? As in how early?

I have seen several companies use too much lift for extended street use which results in nozzles cracking across the tip on a VCO nozzle or the tip removing itself on a sac nozzle.

i had an hx40 before the s464 and it would push 55psi and my egts where through the roof. the s464 comes on around 1900-2100. and makes around 40-45

I'm not talking about Boost. I'm talking about how much air, in terms of pounds per minute (volume) does it move? I think it's usually expressed as its maximum number, though I may very well be wrong there.

How much for the 6x16s ? Is that too much for a 351 on a 92 ? I just finished building the 518 and the pump is stock still. Wanting a hot street setup.

I'm going to say that 6x16s is going to be a lot for the he351 with that tight exhaust housing id say maybe a 5x14s. i have no experience with the he351s as singles
