Fuel knock?! Bd cp3

Installed a r900 bd 6.7 pump on my 05 5.9. Running stock/75 twins with stock injectors now. Had this pump and exergy 100s to install so I figured I'd do one at a time to just see the difference in pumps. Well install went great as planned. Truck started right up without issue but sounds like a fuel knock almost, very faint. Just want to see if anyone else had noticed it or if it was just stock injectors not liking new pump. So called knock is gone right off idle. Thanks in advance

Is the pump possibly out of phase or time slightly?

What's your rail pressure?

Cp3 pumps are not timed

I've never set them by "time" it wouldn't matter when the second cp3 is belt driven and not timeable

What for tuning or programmer are you running a data log could help to see what's going on. Also if running a fass or air dog with to much pressure to the pump could cause a slight knock at idle because it bumps the rail pressure up. Just a thought had that happen once.
