New AFE Race Filter installed... - Competition Diesel.Com

Well I ditched the BHAF and ordered a AFE stage 1 with the 6" race filter and boy you wanna talk about LOUD!!!!!! My little HY sings like crazy.

I mean I thought my BHAF was pretty loud, but this thing puts it to shame.

After installing this thing I belive my BHAF may have been a little on the restrictive side. I was little leary about buying the AFE at first but now I wish I had never even heard of the BHAF. I wanna say Thanks to Garret for the Filter also. Now I believe I'm gonna get a Outerwears for it next.

I'll post some pics tomorrow when it's day light.

Next on my list is a TRANNY.....

Here you go for those of you that would like a picture. I had to put some cardboard over my Filterminder hole b/c it's on my stock airbox with is at my other house in Macon.

Do ya think that big hole in the firewall might have something to do with the loudness lol
