all you need is new copper washers for the injectors, most injectors come with new ones anyway.

Its any easy swap, the last time I tore into mine I had my injectors laying out on the table in 28min. You might not need instructions but here is the process I use when I change mine.

#1 you need to take your valve cover off and your air horn - I usually just take out the 4 10mm bolts that hold the air horn and losen the 11mm nut on the band clamp of the pipe coming from your intercooler and swivel the air horn out of the way. ( you may want to get a new air horn gasket because they are easy to tear!)

#2 losen all 6 of the 3/4in nuts on the injector lines going into the head and you then need to gently pry the injector line up just about a 1/4 in. while you take a straight screwdriver and pop out the injector feed tubes (they only set into the injecto 1/8 in. so you don't have to take them all the way out. - I think you need to losen the 2 10mm bolts closest to the firewall that hold the injector lines #5,6 and the 10mm closest to line #3 so that you can pry them up w/out bending them.

#3 there are 2 8mm bolts holding the injector covers on and all you need to do is take out the front bolt not the back on then the cover will slide off and reveal the injector, then take on of the two short bolts from your air horn and it will screw into your injector and you can take a screwdriver and pry on the head of the bolt and the injector will pop out. Very simple : )

Well I hope they come with new washers.

Thanks for the helpful post. Hopefully it will be easier than it sounds.

Anyone else got any tips?

I guess it's about time to copy and paste my injector install article from somewhere else here, I don't have the time to rewrite it right now.

Dave, if you need any advice shoot me a PM with a phone # and I can walk you through it, it's easy.

Another thing make sure the injector goes in the correct way for the connector tube to insert in before you tighten the injector down.

Make Sure The Open Hole Of The Injector Hold Down Points To The Cab. It Has A Tab On The Under Side That Wont Let It Bolt Down If The Injector Is 180 Degree. But They Turn Easy In The Hole
