47re gov pressure problems

Truck is 98 24v. I have the GM governor solenoid conversion and put a new pressure sensor in about 6 months ago. I was driving home from work and it got stuck in first gear. I figured the sensor was bad or something. I hooked my scan tool up and with the key off it said the gov pressure was 107.4 I dropped my pan and unplugged my sensor and the reading never changed. I checked the internal harness all was good. Check the harness up to the pcm and it was good as well. With no fluid in it or with anything plugged in it still showed 107.4 I put gauges on the test ports and everything changes and fluctuates like it should. Is the pcm bad or does the ecm have a role in it as well? I don't have another pcm or anyone I know of I can swap with to verify one way or the other.

If the mechanical gauge on the governor port shows 5psi or less at idle in drive. Gov. Sol. Is good replace the speed sensor.

Do what he said^^^^

Also did you change the gov. pressure sensor. If you are seeing 100 psi at the port via the scanner I would check out the gov pressure sensor not solenoid especially if you checked the truck with the key on engine off. They are prone to failure and I always change them out in pairs.
