Can’t be without skirts, air tabs, trailer tail, Turbo3000D, 2.64 gears, direct 10spd, super singles.

What is the model of the 10 speed? My dad bought a W900L with a 10 speed (don’t remember the model number, but it has a goofy number). But from everything I’ve heard they’re bullet proof.
My dads W900 has high gears in the rears (3.55, IIRC) but drive by around town you don’t get into high gear. Shifts nice and smooth.

Anyone know what's involved in putting an auto shift in place of a regular manual trans? 3 pedal setup?

Don't remember. I think it's a FRO15210C but I laid the build sheet down somewhere and can't find it.

Ah. The one in my dads W900L is FRO-16910. Guessing if they’re anything like the road rangers it’s the same trans just different torque ratings?

Should be very similar, but yes, different rating. I think a 16910 is an Autoshift...

1. Come to the US and buy tens of millions of dollars in equipment.

3. Attract drivers (that we already have a massive shortage of) while taking enough out of the lower freight rates THEY CUT to pay drivers enough to get them to come work for them?
That sounds like the perfect formula for a successful business model.

Simple solution, they ship container loads of squatting Slavs in Nike track pants to drive for them too.

What makes a metric transmission vs a standard SAE transmission?

Not sure the reasoning, but all the bolts are metric and it's a metric series u joint. They say "metric" on them in big letters, and all the ones I've looked at have an external speed sensor.

I knew I forgot this. The only time I've seen a tanker like that was one hauling out of a sewage treatment plant.
