Does anyone know where I can get an aluminum charge air pipe with a bead rolled in the end?

Blew one of my charge cooler boots off in the pull off this weekend. Don't want that happening again! The good thing is it was just Dad and I in the pull off so we were still 1 and 2.

Mine are stainless and I polished them. It works good if you clamp a piece of 1/2 plate to the back of it so it doesn’t distort. It specifically says not for steel but I never follow the directions.

ISX specific tools. Got to pull this junk red mf’er out of this VNL. I can’t think of anything less valuable than a VNL Volvo with a 2pc crank ISX other than a Volvo with a running Volvo motor.

Between the CAC and the engine? You DF, a VanJen clamp maybe but not a rigid V-Band.

2 V-bands, short flexhose between. All better made trucks have them.

Tech installed 0r8717.
The engine had double outlet jets. Was changed to single outlet jets.

0R8717 is an odd ball pack, it is an aluminum 15.9:1 compression piston.

That engine originally called for a 15.2 aluminum that is not listed in SIS as having a cylinder pack, but with a couple crosses through the parts store it comes back to pack number 0R9847 which is a 15.5:1 2 piece that would have required the dual jets.

Also just because an engine has dual jets doesn't always mean there is a steel top in them, there were some 14.6:1 aluminum pistons used in early 460hp peec engines that have the open chamber under the bowl like a new style acert piston, and those require dual jets.

That's why there was such confusion. I was given the # for the retrofit pack, and I think it crosses back to the one you listed, in npr.
This engine was a cluster from the word go.
I never got to touch it. Just asked to find the jets for the pack that went in.

The engines that use the 0R8717 pack aren't cut and dry about which cooling nozzle they use, there are two options listed in the block options.

7E-3632 and 151-5928

I don’t know if I hate the paint (or lack thereof?) on that truck or love it.
Someone else can speculate on the trailer skirts
