Colt stage 3 questions

After finding a bad cam in the Jetta, I contacted Kerma to order a Colt stage 2. Kerma said that they were out of stage 2 cams and would be for some time. So, they recommended a stage 3 for my stock tdi. I have no plans for more power out of this car but needed a good quality replacement cam. I pulled the trigger on the stage 3 because I have not heard too many good things about the stock replacement cams that I researched and the car needs to run. My questions are; are upgraded valve springs available and/or necessary with this cam, with the factory fueling will this cam be very misfitted to the cylinder head flow/rpm operating range of the engine? Kerma said it would be fine, but I want more info than they could provide. Thanks
