Oil Filter Thread

I have used the search feature and cant find it.. i'm pretty sure it was on Comp-D not on PSN but wheres the thread about the differences in Motorcraft oil filters compared to the aftermarket filters? Being told that the Napa filter is a root cause of my dads '06 dieing friday night

Look at top of comp diesel site- ONLY use motorcraft filters- they have patent on it
all others have to change something to not infringe on patent. That's why they don't work!!!

If one removes the black plastic tube from the oil filter housing and inserts it into any brand filter other than a Motorcraft it's very easy to see where the problem lies.
