The Rebirth of a 93 W250 , Building a dream.

I can honestly say I’ve never seen a frame that color. Unique doesn’t even begin to describe it.

What color will your springs, control arms and such be? I think they’d look good as a deep metallic blue. Even the drive shaft.

Keep it up!
You have enough time to complete the build before May?

Back At it! Spent a little while rounding up some scrap metal around the farm to build some stands on my table.

The ring and pinion look good. Gonna keep the new ones for spares. Got things cleaned up internally and will be re assembling tomorrow!Click the image to open in full size.Click the image to open in full size.Click the image to open in full size.Click the image to open in full size.

Busted open the "mystery" manual transmission np 271 tonight for a refresh. Scored on this one. Looks really good on the inside. Also the front axle is clean enough to eat out of now and awaiting reassembly. Going to pick up a couple bearing pullers and race drivers tomorrow to speed that along. These should do the trick for Trans coolers. They are SWEET very well constructed. Mounting points all over and AN 10 line connections.

Going to have a lot of heat to deal with here between the Trans brake and hot Iowa summers.

If it's not enough I'll add heat exchanger in and use return water from the air to waters. Click the image to open in full size.Click the image to open in full size.

Going to wrap up the front axle this afternoon. Just finished up rebuilding the differential, and now for the free spin
kit

New front coils showed up too. With any luck I'll have a roller by this evening

Where did you buy the coils from?

Also, I sent you a PM. Though I think your inbox is full.

Jumped the gun a little on posting up this pic ( brake rotors are missing no steering components installed yet), but I'm soo releived to see it looking sort of like truck still adjusting the box to line the body up and what not, but you all get the idea lol. Click the image to open in full size.

After a long wait, my cylinder head has arrived. Along with the cam and full power fluidampr kit. Picking up the rest of my engine from the machine shop tomorrow and going to start in immediately on the assembly. Synergy steering components and blue top steering box will be in this week too. It's a d&j shelf. They did the port work as well.

Thanks glad to hear there's some others interested in this little dream of mine.

Hey folks. Planting season and farming really took over for awhile. But it's rained a bunch we got 4.5 inches in an hour and a half but and we've got the majority of our crop in, corn is out of the ground and looking good. Beans could really use a rain. The ground crusted up pretty bad. Hopefully we get a shower tonight.

But anyways. Here's what I've been up to for the past few nights. I visited the machine shop today and will be getting the shortblock back next week. Thank god. It's coming together. Laying out the new painless performance wiring harness and working on its layout this eveningClick the image to open in full size.Click the image to open in full size.Click the image to open in full size.Click the image to open in full size.Click the image to open in full size.
