I built this bumper over the weekend.

I wanted something relatively lightweight, but with adequate protection, along with a radical design.

I used 1/4" aluminum plate, all TIG welded.

The design might be a bit much for some, but it sure catches eyes and should prevent deer from entering the engine bay.

The push bar isn't doing anything but I like how you made sure the curve in it matched the grille. Rest of the bumper is cool!

Looks pretty cool! Definatley different! Looks like and old mopar ran into the front and stuck and the big spoiler wing is hanging out the back haha i like it the push bar that big was a bold move!

I don't know how the laws are over there, but I'd love to see the face of the traffic cops here if they saw me rolling around with that. LOL

The welds themselves do add some style, I guess it depends on what you're after, but have you considered grinding the weld seams down and sanding the edges?

Bare welds look great IMO, as long as there are good enough to be presented. I'm sure they are.

Push bar is a tad high, but pretty damn cool either way. Looks good man.

I was going to say I bet you could sell the crap out of those as rear bumpers for Civic's and Evo's. :woohoo: I think you should add the crosshair dodge grill look then it wouldn't look like a wing. Welds look great.

I just wanted to try something different and it looks like I succeeded in different indeed! Lol.

The entire bumper is TIG welded and is currently 100% raw. I think I'm going to add some removable headlight protection, which will have similar lines and triangular construction.

First though, some light polishing.

Thanks for the comments guys! I hauled a Rally team's trailer this weekend and the bumper was a huge hit with people from all over the country. Good to see I can leave my flamesuit in storage on the forums.

Here are a couple shots from the rally this weekend. I was hoping I was going to be able to hit a few deer, or Elk, as Atlanta, Michigan is the Elk Capital of the state.

And I do like your guys' idea of the center support!!!

I could fit more lights with another mounting surface...hmmm...

I'll give you original for sure....but I can't say that I like the look of it. :( However, I do love silver duallys! :D
