Only thing I can think of that would be different is the cruise. All I need one for is to control the gauges and trans. Ppumped 24v.

One difference is, I believe, in the oil pressure guage.
What year do you actually have?
If it's an '01, I need the date on the door tag.

Okay, I think I have it.
Part number 56028506AB, fits through 6-25-2000, with auto trans and Federal Emissions.
Your PCM will likely have 2 tags, 1 over the other, which is because Dodge had some software updates they had to do in the years of 1998-2003, on the PCMs.

Hey Mark do you have a chart or something to look up all the ECM and PCM compatability for the trucks? Can you send me a link to where you get your info from? I'd like to have a chart so I can see what will work when I have to change the ECM and PCM's.

I do have a manual trans 2005 ECM, no clue if it has security active on it, though.
I use different internet sources.
Some Google, some Car-Part, some what I have posted here and repeat.
I also have some committed to memory.
