If you have a heat gun, that'll work. Heat it up, and then use a plastic putty knife like the ones used in body work.

My tailpipe been caked for a long time. Imagine heat gun is a good method. Just be careful not to blister it.

So, I ordered some Griots " Track Spray".
Stuff worked amazing. Sprayed it onto the truck let it sit for a few minutes, then busted out the power washer. Took a few applications or just letting it sit and then pressure wash it off, then I finished up with a light rub with a microfiber.
