S300 on Ram 4500

I have a junked 369sxe here with no exhaust housing. It looks like a 66 wheel has the same exducer as the 69. So I think I'll put a budget kit together on my 4500 and just spend the money on a remote mount exhaust brake. My question is, can I put a t3 exhaust housing on this and run a 3rd gen manifold? All I'm after is stockish spool and a better/more reliable exhaust brake. Don't drive the truck but maybe 4,000 to 5,000 miles a year and it's towing 14k when I do, So is the 66 too big?? It's the 80/74 tw.

6.7 or 5.9?

66mm's don't tow well. they surge like hell. the 6.7 will get along much better than the 5.9 but still if its a work truck ide go a touch smaller.

2012 6.7.

Problem is the smaller inducer comp wheels also have smaller exducers. Not sure how big a deal that will be.

No sir. 69 needs new wheel & cover and ex housing. I'm worried about the machined out part of the back plate if I put a smaller wheel in.

ok. that's no problem. you can absolutely put a smaller wheel on a machined center section.

I know it will fit, just wondering if it will cause oil issues etc.
