Eco diesel vs gasser dash cluster

Since I deleted the wife's truck I'm sick of looking at the def gauge. So I have been wanting to put a gasser cluster in.

Is it possible has anyone tried it. I know they used to go to the gasser gauges in the second gens for the higher rpm gauge. But is it possible on these new ones.

Chances are it'll have to be reprogrammed in some way.

Mark.

I saw a build before where someone was upgrading from the base dash to the Laramie and they just plugged it in. Nothing special at all. They made the comment they won't have a DEF gauge anymore and would have to keep an eye on the level.

It was just some random youtube video, but it looked extremely simple. I'd source a cluster if I were you. I'm sure you could sell it if it didn't work.

And I've noticed a lot of clusters are moving to a method where they're identified on start up. So they'll have one pin grounded/ungrounded/specific resistance and it will tell the BCM what data to send them. It makes life really easy on the assembly line.
