Transmissuon issues?

All of the sudden today my truck is acting like it is fighting the motor at stops. I dont know how to describe it other than it acts like i am pressing on the accelerator pedal while holding the brakes. When I let off the brake it feels lime it really wants to take off.

Is this a torque converter problem?

Is there any “grit” in the trans fluid when you rub it between your fingers?
