removing DV washers, explain?
ive always heard/read that if theyre in there, remove them. what is the reason for this? what does it affect? ive removed mine but was asked why so i need a reason.

Only the old style (131) used the washers. The newer style (181) don't use them. It's only a sealing washer, but since Bosch tolerances are so tight you can get away without them even on a metal to metal only seal of the older style dv assembly.
