3.0 water injection

New member
moving up to 3.0 this year and i have been putting some parts together for a water injection system on my duramax. i'll be running a haldex pump with the crc lube with an enderle distribution block and enderle nozzles.

is anyone willing to share what a good starting point is for nozzle size, # of nozzles, and pressure? i am planning on placing them in the intake Y right before it splits to each intake runner.

i run 2 nozzles.. both are .625 jets.. they come on at 20lbs of boost and they come on full at 30lbs.. I run a single gt4094 and make 45lbs no water and about 47 with water
 
Which model pump are you using and what type of CRC lube are you using I am also curious as the big 3 dont reveal in their seceret water injection systems. Thanks.
 
I found that the NAPA water soluble cutting oil worked good too for pump lube. As far as pressure and amount of water, what does your pump produce? When I ran water it was about 1 quart per pass. I did this with 4 nozzles.
 
Call Haisleys. They have what you want. that is where I got mine, but I dont remember the hole size. If I remember right, they have 3 different sizes

thats the pump i'll be running. i did quite a bit of research on here the last couple days. seems like most guys are running it around 1k psi. what size nozzles do you use?
 
Sorry didn't see this till now. I have a flow chart, how many nozzles you want to run? How much water you want to inject?

my rules dont limit the number of nozzles. i have never ran water before so i really dont have much of an idea where to start. my resevoir is 2.5 gal so i hope i dont use more than that in a pass lol

per injection tip?? or total for the four tips you used?
