Assembling my motor and started setting piston ring gaps..opened a brand new set of cummins rings part number 3802750 that I got from a supplier in here..wierd thing is one set has a gapless second ring and the other one is standard both in same box..all 3 boxes are the same..(rings came shipped in 3 boxes,2 sets of rings per box).obviously I can't run 3 gapless and 3 standard.has this happen to anyone else or are these rings for a different application?
