So what that one guy who has "issue" with said shop in the past asks a pointed question about the warranty and what exactly is covers? THAT is a LEGITIMATE question and no matter who asked, it deserves to be answered. Two F-in pages of drama would've been saved if you'd just answer it. How hard can that possibly be?
Or do you guys really WANT another "Train Wreck" thread down the road that will further hurt business? Thats nuts.

I've always been curious what other changes someone has to make to the rest of the trans to run these larger shafts, and are these changes required to be done by said shop for the shaft warranty to apply?

It was answered! How did you miss it?

The model Swole is trying to enforce here has nothing to do with friendship, he is acting as a business advertiser without paying site fees, for a business that does pay site fees.

You win Rich.. This is "Your House".
I've never once done anything of the sort. In fact I posted in this very thread that I love Jeff to death...he's aces in my book. You conveniently skip over that part. None of what I've posted was aimed at Jeff or his business. EVERYTHING I've posted is aimed squarely at you.
You can shove your conspiracy theories up your ass.

Where? All I read was defensive posturing by someone with a persecution complex.

When the warranty says "at the discretion of....." then what parameters do customers have to follow to stay within warranty? Is there some sort of HP limit? Do customers have to have the shafts installed a certain way by a certified (by Garmon) installer with written receipt? Are other upgrades required to be done along with these shafts to ensure their strength and enable said warranty? Are there tuning (or tuner) requirements?

"License and registration sir"

"Here you go officer. May I ask why you stopped me?"

"Was that attitude? ARE YOU OUT TO GET ME?!"

**BANG BANG BANG**

This is very far beyond a friend saying something complementary about a sponsors product or service from time to time. This is constant business advertising being performed by a separate entity period. Very bad advertising as well and reflects poorly on the business being advertised.

What the fack! Missed out on why your all bagging on David. I like Swole so phuck all you all!

That business aside we're putting 1700hp through a TCS Aermet shaft and 300psi+ line and they are holding just fine. We've been doing our damnest to get the power band up another 1000rpm too though. Still not sure we're in the market for anything else yet.

It is always nice to see pics with measurements. After reading through this entire thread a couple things stuck with me. I never knew folks had questions about the rear clutch fluid channel. On my Fat shaft (since 2006) that channel is matched to flow the same in diameter/volume as the through holes, they flow the same in diameter/volume as the shafts center feed hole. With everything there are reasons for channel depths, depends on the channel but they are usually sized for ideal cooling or apply/release times. FWIW The weakest part of the shaft is the grooves for the sealing rings. It would be nice to see comparison measurement/pics of that area too.

On another note, I realize in the end it's all about the marketing and imitation is supposed to be the sincerest form of flattery. But really the name too? As you know from the web or even from the receipts from me in the past, the P/N I sold you was 1300IT and the Nomenclature was Fat Input. Why not call yours something else to avoid mix ups between the two there are metric ton's of other names available.

The relief area measured on the Allison was one of the smartest things they have done. That is the cheapest place and a calculated load for that shaft to break at, they save their customers tons of potential money in parts by doing so.

Rich, thank you for the awesome pics and number on the new FS design.
