Ram 1500 and 2500 front axle difference?

What is difference between Ram 1500 2wd and Ram 2500 2wd front axle?

Control arms?
Brake disk
brake cylinders

Is the 2500 (2wd) front axle swap to 1500 (2wd) impossible or just bolt on job?

2wd Rams don't technically have a front axle.

They both run upper and lower "A" arms, with a spindle.

Can't tell you the difference for sure, other then the 3/4 ton has 8 bolt hubs, and the half ton has 5 bolt.

I would imagine that the 3/4 ton has larger diameter brakes, larger "A" arms, larger ball joints, etc.

I found intresting information.

1.Upper control arms are same in all models :1500,2500,3500
2. upper ball joint is same in all models : 1500,2500,3500
3. lower contol are is different in 1500 and 2500/3500
4. ball joint is same in all models ?????? ->
5. spndle in 1500 and 2500/3500 is diffent
6. wheel bearings are different in 1500 and 2500/3500

All front axle/supension parts in 2500 and 3500 are same.

I do not understand how can lower ball joint be the same ,but control arm can be different, maybe print mistake.

If ball joints are same in 1500 and 2500, then I think is possible swap complete spindle with hub/brakes from 2500 directly to 1500 control arms.

Here is update:

Lower ball joint in 1500 and 2500 is different!!

In 2500 ball joint is bigger(cone also), but here is good news: lower control arms itself are the same.
