2wd ODL Options
Well as yall know Im going ODL for next season. Got most things worked ou as to how i want to build .. well re build everything. Just trying to figure out what to do about my Driveline.. ie Clutch and Trans.
1st option ive looked at is ofcourse the Pro fab Twin countershaft 3spd. ( As Dale has)
2nd option is going with a standard Drop box and Reverser set up.
3rd option... Well lets hear yalls ideas?? Looked at the Single Countershaft units... not as costly, but not real sure on the difference either. Anyone know of anything else that would hold up that i might not be thinking of???
Also need info on where to pick up a clutch can and all the small stuff.
Lets hear it...
Thanks

1 Counter Shaft...........
I would think the 2 couter shaft would be stronger, but Im guessing more expensive!
Have you ever looked into some of the off road stuff they run down in your parts? More of the Billet twin stick t-cases and things like that? Ive always wanted to look, but I havent gotten that far in my build.....

Twin cs has 100% more tooth engagement, one on each side of mainshaft, pushing into each other, so there is very little load pushing the case apart. Another option would be an eaton 5spd.
Finding a huge sae bellhousing adapter for the 13 spd will be tricky.
use big truck clutches. Valair ought to be able to set you up.
Also, the 13 spd is really a 9spd with a second splitter on the tail housing. some did come with another splitter making something like 17 gears.there is no shortage of ratios for you to pull with.
They are huge. And weigh something like 700 pounds.

6610-6613-610-613 would be strong enough. My 6610 had 500 to 550rpm splits.would have to have a SFI flywheel made. And you would not have a clutch can.I would go with the tcs profad.
