97 ac compressor fit 99?

I have a motor I'm building that has what appears to be a good ac compressor and it's a 97 12v. Currently I'm driving a 99 24v with a bad seized ac compressor. Will the 97 compressor fit the 99?

Auto zone guy said the part # is different but most websites that sell compressors say 1994-2005ish are the same.

I think the only difference is the connector for the clutch.

Yep, the electrical connector for the clutch. I could be wrong so don't take my word as gospel. I'd suggest going to the parts house and see if they have both where you can compare.

I put one on my 99 off my brothers 94. I just had to swap electrical connectors.
