Bump Timing. I ran 28.5 on the skreet with a similar turbo with no issues. Maybe a bit looser stall could help you keep timing bumped and still manage to be streetable?

Definitely a different DV. Compounds are more fun for something like you are trying to acheive.

Regarding injection timing, here is something to consider; with a smaller orifice such as you have there will be a lack of fuel density in comparison to a larger orifice, this can impact the effective timing value regarding your setup. Injecting the fuel too early without sufficient density to penetrate the cylinder pressure can actually be a negative, for certain instances the orifice size chosen isn't always about the flow value.

This isn't to say your current injector isn't capable of reaching your goal, rather that the "more is better" mentality isn't always the case. And in my experience the only way to verify true advance is with a timing light.

I have the afc all the way back and modified it to pull the foot back a little more, couldn’t pull enough fuel out to make the truck run how I want with the 022s. Then again I’m trying to make a 13mm pump work with cruise control so maybe I’m crazy. I’ve got a set of 035s somewhere I haven’t tried on this pump yet, I think those are going in next.

Well it didn't take much to convince me, got a primary charger on the way. Found a GT4718 (88/93/1.08) for a good price and saw some others had good results with that charger in the past. Wanna try to change some things and go 10's with my current setup so I'll wait until then to put it on.

Curious to see how that does with the 472/83. I have a 475/83 and was considering putting a 488/96/1.32 under it.

Charger is supposed to show up today so I can start planning, I'll keep you updated. What housing is on that 475?

Nice. You need a good piece of real estate to fit that.

Gonna be a little tighter than the 96/1.32, hopefully not by much.

Set the primary in the engine bay last night to get an idea of fitment and took some rough measurements before I order the parts. Doesn’t look like it’ll be too hard to fit.

Also swapped in the 035 DVs, not a fan so far. My AFC is already pulled all the way back and I’ve got a pretty tight spring in it. Part throttle smoke is harder to control and the truck just blacks out the road at WOT, I can slide the plate back a little more to see if that helps. Definitely lost top end power seat of the pants.

That's my version of a poor mans catch can. Blowby goes into the hose barbs, the oil drains out the bottom back into the pan, and the air vents through some steel wool out the top.
