What gear ratio in a third gen

What gear ratio are you guys running in the 1/8 mile in a third gen? Mine has 4.10 in it and I think there going to fall short.

A lot of things depend on what gear ratio would be best. Tire size/type, turbo setup, fueling setup, RPM capability, etc.

3.42s are still going to be your best route. Diesel torque can overcome the high gears that would kill a gasser out of the hole, and you won't be gearing out by the end of the track, since most drag tires that will fit a truck are 30" and under.
