Edge Products Weekend on the Edge

Is anyone going to this? I am thinking about taking my dads truck up since I don't have one anymore. Just wondering who else might be going...

I was thinking about dragging my dads truck, but now maybe not. Got the hack to that one. I should be there to spectate on friday though. I am hoping to make it on the dyno Saturday, will be there also with a diesel or not.

chris, from premier performance in rexburg, id has a video. he is going to send me a video of the nitrous explosion i had during time trials. i dont know if he recorded everything, but he has one.

it was my first time on the pavement, im usually on the dirt. i didnt think it was too bad, just wish the truck would have held up. there was 60 some trucks

I don't remember seeing your truck on the track, or on the dyno. Joke or not, the important part is everyone(or atleast almost everyone) had fun. I was not competeing, and still had a good time watching people I know race and or blowing up their trucks... right josh And the cool part was, getting to mingle with and meet new diesel heads like myself. I have no harsh feelings, but don't put down one of the only all diesel events we have in Utah, you never know, maybe there won't be anything next year.

You're right, I didnt run my truck. I was crew for a good buddy of mines truck. We dont have any events in Nevada and its nice to see some west coast participation. I am however putting down edge products. Bracket racing?? C'mon, then break the trucks up into classes? If they are going to break the trucks up, run head to head, straight up. Fastest guy on the track wins. If I would have known it was bracket racing I would have brought my bone stock truck and run high 15s all night and beat the guys running 11s and 12s, who sometimes the truck just isnt as predictable as mine. Also I dont know if its normal for the dyno people driving the trucks on the dyno instead of the owners, but you better believe if I had 50,000 plus under the hood of my truck noone else is going to be taking it 4,000+ RPM. Sorry, wont happen. There isnt anyone in the world knows my truck as well as I do.
Just make sure you dont question Edge the almighty. They will make sure you dont make good numbers...
I was glad to see the turnout, diesel performance is getting big and thats a good thing, but unfortunately I wont be back next year.

sean and brian have it at the shop now. i think we can get it together in time. i used to have a turbo in there at one time but it seems to be gone now!! it was a pretty wild explosion. the first and last time of me running any drugs in my truck. and like i said before. in my own opinion, the races were a good event even though i did that in time trials. i didnt go to the dyno, but i know that i too would not let someone else run my truck over 4k...
