At this point I'd lean towards a mechanical pump as well. I like a vp truck but when they start being pissy like this..... efff em.

Even a p pumped 24 valve breaks lines occasionally.

ok so on the top again..been driving it with no issues. got 2 diff ecm's..had em flashed..truck would not even cycle the fuel pump on startup...


anyhows...I had a thought. someone I was talking to said its out of its running parameters...

if the apps was reading wrong..say it had a spot in it where it would suddenly go to full throttle for a second..not enough for the engine to realize it but for the ecm to know its outside its safe place.
kind of the opposite of a dead spot
I noticed today at exactly 60 mph bout 1850 rpm or so...I feel a tiny bit of surge..almost as if it wants to die....fuel press and everything I can monitor is good. almost feels like dead pedal but so minor it almost cant feel it
