Finally I had time to work with Steiner.

The worn out center joint is now replaced with replaceable heavy duty industrial non lubricated ball joint, now it's tight

Also the engine is back on the frame.

Tomorrow I have to make 2 new hydraulic hoses, some how I miss them last time.

Then I have to make all new wires and it should be ready to start

Update.
Today I did first start and hydraulic test (just few inch to both direction) ,my rebuilt hydraulic motor is functional, marriage between JohnDeere and Steiner.

Still lots of thing to do, like full new electric wiring, fuel lines, create bracket for snow plow...

The more I work with it the more I like, the machine is well engineered

Yes, yesterday was the first day.

To make it perfect I still need replace the wiring and paint.

Now I can confirm, to repair Steiner hydraulic motor the cheaper will be to use John Deere 400 hydraulic pump/motor assembly.

The internal parts are identical with Steiner

Now I have also second Steiner 425

I brought it from Sweden as spare parts tractor , it had also front hydraulic motor failure and owner had allready sold the engine.

It took almost 1 year to convince to owner to sell it to me with reasonable price.

But , like allways spare part donor might be running machine in the future.

From germany I got 2 used but good condition hydraulic motors and hydraulic pump.

One fully functional Kubota D905 is also available.

To make it factional I need new driveshaft joints between the engine and hydraulic pump,

YEs, I confirm, I am crazy , one tractor might enuf.....

Today I did 5 miles trip at public road.

Huh, this tractor is fast , but is hard to keep straight, it needs cinstantly steering adjustment.

With 1 gear the speed is similar to JD332, but 2 gear is pure fun :rockwoot:

The tractor needs more gauges, currently it have only ampmeter, coolant gauge and hour counter.

My idea will be : coolant temp, oil pressure, hydraulic temp, volt or ampmeter, tacho with hour counter

Few days ago I brought small tractor tiled scoop (mechanical) for rear 3pt cat1 hitch.

The only problem is lack of lifting power.

It can lift only scoop(70kg )+ material max100kg

It will look like this, 100% china , cost was $300
