Lol it’s like seeing a hot woman and she tells you the world is flat. Like 90% there and ruined it, or finding out she’s Canadian.

I like being different. The white one also has a Detroit. My only complaints is the bunk hole could be larger so I could slide seat back and sometimes passenger vent window is in the way.

Thanks. She needs a polish but might as well wait till the salt is off the roads. The pipes have never really been shined yet either. I made them from stainless water pipe so they had a real oxidized finish. Starting sanding at 60 grit all the way till 2000 and got tired lol about 8 hours of sanding on them.

Can tell your runnin green by the floor “markings”

Faulkner had lizard fittin issues with the little hole. Had to step up to a big aero opening.

Don’t pretend you won’t enjoy the ride if she performs.

Well 12k km on the truck now with the changes. The air ride is smoother. It has gotten rid of the sharp hits. I’m thinking it could be made smoother. Not sure how yet. I might remove some height with the height control valves and see if it softens up. But at least to me I don’t really feel any issues with roll or bump steer. Maybe the dual leveller valves helped with roll.

Don’t need dual, they can’t react fast enough to make any difference anyway.

My thoughts on the duals were it wouldn’t let air travel side to side causing roll.

Also keep truck level if one side had more weight. Not sure it does or doesn’t. But there’s more hanging off passenger side of motor and frame for that matter.

Drivers side is almost always heaver. Power steering box and fluid reservoir, air compressor and starter. Most aftermarket air kits have 2 valves but all the stock Paccar have one and they all sit level. They also have the sides connected through different ports on the leveling valve. Air would have to go back through the valve to get to the other side, ports in the valve are too small for this to make any difference unless your driving in circles.

Friend was just weighed by the county sheriffs portable scales. Drivers side on his 379 with acert was 200# heavier than passenger side. Friends 359 was 300# heaver on drivers side with 3406B.

I’m glad our county sheriff doesn’t have portable scales. We’d all be in the slammer here.

You got that right.

Granted, I could have gotten closer to 80,000 if I had really wanted to, but loading at farms can be interesting.

Depending on where you are here the county and state fight over the same stretch of road. Most aren’t too hateful, they will weigh one axle and give you an over axle ticket instead of over gross. That is unless you try and lie your way out of it or act like your a roadside lawyer.

I do my best to keep axle and gross weights in Check. Dot here has scales on their trucks. Never seen them out in the winter though.

How’s the suspension holding up? I’m in the middle of swapping mine. Ended up making my own upper bag mounts, photo is with short rear hanger I was trying to use but Iv got the correct one to put on tomorrow.

Did you end up cutting the safety loop on yours? I got mine to fit but it definitely binds up enough that I have to stand on the rear of the leaf to get it to move down/up. Might just grind 1/8” out of the safety loop and see what happens.

Got the rear hangers on today. Few photos showing full droop, estimated ride height (14.5” axle to frame), and full compression.

Bottom front bolt hole 2.25” behind the hole for the top bolt on the old style hanger.

*those aren’t the bolts I’ll be using, just something I had for testing*
