On my 2nd gen I tapped the signal wire from the APPS under the hood. I believe 3rd gens are throttle by wire and you could probably tap the wire right at the electronics on the pedal. Use a voltage meter and probe the wires to find the one with varying voltage based on pedal input.

I run the NX 2 stage kit with a Progressive controller and really like the adjustability with the ramping i can do with my laptop, mine ramps in off boost pressure and it can be change for my likings for either the dyno or the track.

I have probably the cheapest kit of anyone here. It's called bottle in a bag from compucar. I bought it off ebay for $150 with everything. Super easy to install, and very stealthy. One nitrous line going to your air horn, a plug in for the cigarette lighter, and a button to activate it. My quarter times didn't drop much (.2 seconds) because of wheel spin, but it went from 122 on diesel only to 128.7 mph with the kit. The solenoid is about the size of your thumb.. haha.. Cheap, effective, and super easy to install.

i have the zex also and couldnt find the right wire for the tps switch. it kept setting my CEL off. i just ditched it and went with a hobbs switch to activate it. its much easier and safer in my opinion. with the tps switch or anyother pedal switch, if your way overfuling it like me on a single charger, you could activate it with a twitchy foot and activate it too soon.

A switch that works of pressure, with boost or liquid/fuel. When the hobbs switch senses a certain pressure lets say 20lbs of boost it will make the conection to turn on the juice

That used to be called the "rental car kit", those kits are great!

if youve never played with it and always like to put the go pedal to the floor, i would get the hobbs switch. you can set it at what ever psi you want it to come on and when it get there it will activate and when it drops below it, it will shut off. just safer than loading the truck up with fuel and accidently injecting the nitrous.

my truck is set at 17 psi. it will make a little over 220hp when it injects and at the top end i might net 25 hp (after the turbos lit and all) so with a single trubo you can load them pretty good. now just imagine you injecting the nitrous with no boost at all or maybe 5psi (not good).

mine has a 175hp jet in it by the way.

I have found that I get the best response out of setting the TPS to about 25 to 30 % of you full throttle. Or some what close to where you start to bring the boost up on staging.

Use the second trigger wire on the foot brake and set the first channel to enable by.
Next ramp the nitrous in at about 5 % at 3 psi boost and about 15 % at 15 lbs of boost.

Click the image to open in full size.

Set the second channel to disable. Have the ramp from about 20% at 10 lbs of boost to 100% at around 30 lbs of boost. This works if you have four wheel drive and a lot of traction to power.

Click the image to open in full size.

With a two wheel drive or where you can easily over come the available traction
Ramp in the nitrous on a time base, starting at 20% and ramping in over 1 to 1.5 seconds

Dyno
Set the nitrous to come on at 20 percent at 5 lbs of boost, and ramp to 100% at a point where you motor will normally take the full hit. Say 25 to 30 lbs of boost

This uses the nitrous to spool the charger, and as the charger spools the nitrous increases, for a rapid chain reaction
