I put together the list below for comparing typical ATF+4 Viscosity for the 47re Trans. My transmission pan is bent/leaking due to previous over-tightening, so it needs to be replaced. In the past I have used Vavoline but from the list below it may be of benefit to switch to Pennzoil to get alittle more bite out of the converter during non-lockup. Redline “High Temp” is an option too but I am cautious about using a more Dex derived fluid in the 47re.
