Head stud situation
Hey guys, I'm doing a head gasket and arp's on a 07 f250. I already prepped block and heads all nice and clean. My problem is, I installed the studs (in block) per arp's directions (hand tight) and notice that one of my studs is a couple treads lower than the rest. I ran a straight edge over all studs to double check. Prior to that I cleaned out bolt hole with carb cleaner and blew out holes at least 3-4 times each. I also chased threads with original head bolts. Is it common to have a stud or two not the same height as the rest? It's not a big difference in height, maybe 1/8". Any reply would be appreciated
