67mm hx52 w/13cm housing/80mm hx60 compounds

As i am pleased with how quickly the spool from the hx52 i was curious to others thoughts on this compound setup... may consider it in the future 67mil 52 moves roughly 90 #s per min hx 60 in 80 mil format moves 130-135... i feel its not a whole lot different than your 300/400 compound setups... any feedback would be nice.... thanks

I may be wrong but I think I remember Garmons old drag truck ran a hx52 secondary, Maybe with a ht4c if I remember right, long time ago but seemed to spool quick and ran good (low 10's).

Thank you much sir... im not having a whole lot of feedback with this as the 52 has a bad rep for being such a slow spooler... but in a 13cm w/g housing it is indeed a whole different story

Glad to hear of the quick spool up with the 13cm housing. I have the same turbos myself, although my HX52 & HX60 have a little smaller inducers. I have been curious about this combo as well. Admittedly, I'm still in a parts gathering phase. Interested to see your results man.

I've been running hx52 16cm & ht4c spool great with a 2300 stall. Over 700 to the tire with more fuel and timing on the table.

Well myself im nowhere close to this even being a reality!!! i have the 52 and plenty of fuel but plenty of things need to happen before i consider adding a 60 to the mix! valvetrain honestly is area where id really like to improve my setup the most not just the usual springs pushrods but being i dont think my chances of affording a hamilton street head are very good id like to do a little porting as well as a mild cam to improve flow in and out of the engine best i can... this was just kind off a thought that went through my head seems like it would be a decent compound setup.... chances of it being the absolute fastest spooling setup available not likely but with the 52 spooling like it does i could definitely see it being street able without smokefest even more so after improving headflow... idk im new to this so learning as i go..
