I say there are benefits, my 7.3 has a fluidampr, my bmw has a fluidampr my deck plate motor has a pulleyless fluidampr hell if I could find one to fit my 3cylinder yanmar making twice the original power it came with I’d put one on my lawn mower as well. Every engine I build doesn’t leave my shop without one even if it’s a stock rebuild unless it came with a factory Cummins viscous dampener. When those rubber isolators crack or oil saturate and implode, they can come apart and it’s not pretty, the larger diameter ones have more surface area on the isolator. Cheap insurance and definitely worth the couple bucks imo. And then the high rpm 510cube pro stocks from Europe have no balancer......
