Also send your injection pump to someone to get it maxed and balanced. I recommend Seth at DPE.

Those are mild egt's...

You have a lot of choices to lower them though. Less fuel, more air, water methanol, etc...

This will not actually lower EGTs. Depending on mixture. Methanol is a fuel, and will create heat. Water alone will lower EGTs.

Twins should definitely help. I see about 1600 at the end of the quarter mile with a peak boost of somewhere around 68psi. Turbos are 57mm and 71mm. Very responsive, but most people like to go a bit bigger these days.

I did look up some kits but I'm so so on the bd kit and they don't recommend using the SB special. it does come with a manifold but some of the kit looks plastic.

The kit on DAP is cheep but what down falls does it have if its so cheep.

source is out of my budget.

any other kits out there?

mods are in sig and I just ordered a tcs input shaft for my trans. I'v been leaving the line at 10lbs till now.
Seems to me that turbo you have should get you deep into the 13's, if not high 12's, with more fuel. Only reason I say that is my VP truck still has a 63/70(?) and it runs 12.75 on 33's with 3.55's. 3 times the injector though at 220hp. I don't have a cam or hardly anything else, stock down to the airbox. Full billet trans though.

Yeah I'm going to have matt @ siskiyou diesel do my trans in a week or two with the new billet input. I should be leaving the line with 15-20 psi instead of 8-10 so I'll be in the high rpm to get full boost before i shift 2nd. then I'll see what that does to my 1/4 et on march 22nd.

DDUALLY i was at matts a few weeks back and took a look at your beast I liked how you fit the water to air on the fender to save space I would like to see it make a few passes some time. good build. did you ever run the truck before the head? if so can you tell much in the way of power, egt from the ported head.

Ok so I'm ordering a diesel power source 3 piece exhaust manifold tomorrow.
then it will be a lift pump next one with air separation so what GPH should i get to run 600-700hp? the air dog 150gph is the cheapest I can find but not sure if i will need a bit more like 200GPH. any advice? or cheapest works for me.

I did look it up but not much in the way of input once there on something. I would like the smoke to clear under full boost when i get to the power level i want and don't want to have the pump get to hot when i'm just idling.

For my next lift pump, I'm thinking a aeromotive a1000 with a standalone filter setup. Not a new idea and prolly not saving over a fass/ airdog pump but from what I hear it's more reliable and will put out more fuel $/gph.

Lol damnit... That thing was a freaking mess! The engine is usually spotless on that thing. I ran it once in Medford and due to some traction problems and shifting problems it ran a 16.5 at 104.5mph. I would love to get an auto in it though and get it into the mid 11.5s or so.

Its back up in Klamath now so let me know when your around and I'll give you a ride in it sometime. Here's my cell number 530five98026zero.

Also we didn't port the head it just had a little valve work done due to some high fiving between the pistons and valves haha. It sounds much better now and spools the 72 no problem with all 6 cylinders at full compression haha.

Just go completely mechanical and do a DTT Assassin kit.

Exhaust manifold showed up today. Pulling the transmission tomorrow if all goes well I'll be ordering a fass 240 and possible twin piping. I will fall short on cash so I will duel feed the p pump and turn it up with the 75's I'v got. That is all Ill be able to get done by march 22 and have time to test.

I thought they discontinued those for p7100's? Not enough pressure was the last I heard

You dont really NEED dual feed unless you plan on going big in the future. That little bit of money saved could be spent elsewhere IMO.

They may have. I know for sure you'd have to run your own regulator if you did run one. To bring pressure up. But being belt driven and a flow capability of around 150gph or more, I dont see why running a different regulator wouldn't produce 60psi or so.
