KTS compressor wheel

Anyone here have any experience swapping to a KTS compressor wheel? I’ve read that quite a few turbo shops secretly use them as their “Billet version” but no one posts any results. So does anyone here have experience swapping to KTS wheel and how’d it work out? My turbo is an S475/83 t4 BTW. Thanks guys

I'm no expert by any means, but my opinion is that kinugawa makes 80% of the billet wheels sold, and it's not usually the compressors that fail in a turbo.

yeah KTS is no secret. If you think guys are investing close to a million dollars to produce wheels for themselves Ive got news for you....


Now that being said, what you see in their catalog is not everything. Most shops make their own designs and KTS will not sell those.
 
I can say from experience that turbine fails before KTS compressor from overspeeding.

They are not made from forged blanks like big name billet wheels but seems not to make much difference.
