New truck project

A temp switch will let it warm up adequately anyways.
I was just curious because I'm debating on deleting my heat exchanger and replacing it with a Derale 15870 along with running the cooler up front. I just don't like the idea of "if" it ever cracks I don't wanna lose my transmission. My trucks a driver and I do tow some but nothing over 10-12k

It's no more likely to fail then anything stock.

Had a chance to work on it this weekend. Got the infinite performance 5x.025s installed with some scheid .093 lines. The lines took a lot more time to install then expected. Injector return is flared and ready for fuel block. Turbo drains are 90% done. Trying to decide where to mount fuel filters now.
I swapped the truck from rh to re so the Trans cross member was wrong, so I figured I would make my own and catch up on tig welding before I do my cage. I am no pro but happy with it.

Gotcha, what I am interested in. A buddy and I are gathering ideas on how to eliminate this stupid press fit bulky stock crossmember.

Well I was able to work on it again tonight but my phone died and the pictures a friend took are average at best.
Brake lines are all in and tied back
Tcase was taken apart and I installed the Dow brothers slip yoke shaft for the front drive shaft. I have a pretty good idea how I can take the 4 low out of the case and or all time 4wd but don't have time yet so it will stay till later in the year. Happy with the quality they have.

Also finished up the Trans mount and welded in the mounts to the frame. Took more time then I cared for but it's another thing off the list.

Hoping to get fluids in and finish fuel plumbing tomorrow.

Managed to loose some more weight this weekend. Also got the rear springs down to 2 springs and the caltracs on. Didn't get pictures of those though.

As you can see I need to raise the rear up one inch again with a set of aluminum blocks I have. Not sold on cutting the front more yet.

Was able to get the cac piping done for the hot side. Just need a boot for that side. I wanted vbands but didn't do solid mounts.

The Garret has been much harder to package then I originally anticipated. I wish I would have done a 1 inch spacer on the manifold. Had to mill the coolant fitting down for the gate to clear. But coolant and oil are done on both turbo.

Manages to get all return fuel lines done but no pictures yet. Still need to remove and pain the bracket holding the return block. The valve body is in. Oi

Piping looks great. I like those vibrant clamps

They are nice and rated at like 800 psi but man they are not fun to get together. I will take the cac and comp cover of before I take that joint apart. Getting a flange made this week to do 3.5 intake piping and that all should be wrapped up.

Really? I always assumed they went together easily, no tools required and the misalignment that it gives.
