What AFSC? I was there in 09. Huge base, lots of leadership, lots of douchebags, and lots of army (kinda go hand in hand I guess). Be ready for lots of stupid.
Kuwait and Southern Iraq get stupid hot. I saw 145 for 5 days straight, and 102 at night, near Um Qasr back in 07

Yeah, right now is when the heat starts hitting in bagram. It'll hit about 110 during the day, which feels like 130, and at night it drops to high 30's. I remember wearing as little as possible during the day, and at night you'd have to bundle up and use lots of blankets to stay warm lol. Mountain weather is crazy. Should already be done with the rainy season. Just rain and rain and more rain for a couple months, muddy as all hell, and then the heat comes.
Do you know how long you'll be there for?
