'06 Horrible Lope @ Idle - Competition Diesel.Com

My '06 has a Horrible Lope at idle. The trucks stock, no tune, straight piped. I cycle the plugs and it cranks a bit then fires up, Idles normal for a moment (15-20 seconds) then it goes to hell.. It will rev up too about 800rpm and fall a little below 500rpm, blowin black smoke like none other while its doin this.. Step on accel pedal and it will miss and chug till about 1000rpm then smooths out. Drive it down the road and it will blow some smoke, but seems sorta gutless till its been driven 20-30 miles then it runs really good.. Now I don't drive the truck much during the winter, but i start it and drive it once a month or so could this have anything to do with it? Thanks

Gelled up fuel?

I dunno, only time i ever gelled up was on my '99 7.3l and it would only Idle..Smooth idle and wasn't possible to get it to rev..But i will check the Filter and see what it looks like since it has been below zero the last few days

Mine was doing that when my ICP sensor was shot.
