Gonna get my fuel bonus this quarter.
Think that's only going to apply if you add a turbo wing on top of your Cascadia as well!

So what’s taking so long with your truck? It takes :30 seconds to check fuel pressure and a few minutes to check for boost leaks.

Just went in the shop today. When I talked to him this morning, he wasn’t promising he could get to it today.

What was this fella concerned about with the fuel psi? Has anyone dynoed back to back with different psi ratings? Ive run pressure all over the board on everything from 40 pins to acerts, cant say my butt dyno ever registered a difference.

He wasn’t saying it was a problem. Said he just prefers to see more. This was before he’d even seen the truck as well.

The only time I've heard pressure mentioned, a guy was running the higher psi relief valve and said the engine was melting down on hills. He had up put a stock valve in it because he was skeered.
I found (Monday actually) where CAT published 52psi being the floor for emui injectors before they won't function properly.

On stock HP I don’t know how much matters but I know for a fact with high HP the SDP fuel pump is a bad mf’er. 1000hp truck can drag a stock MXS pump to like 60psi. But mine never drops below 100 above 1500rpm and is as high as 130psi at just high idle. And they’re the same price as every other pump. And it’s more than just the pump spring. Tried just moving that and it didn’t work.

He had stated I’m better running trucks that he builds, his trucks see 100-130lbs. Wonder if that’s what he’s doing as well.

Then you would have to change your tuning like with Leiffi’s turbo.

Ever hear the saying “carpet match’s the drapes”? It’s a lot like that in the Volvo world, Leiffi’s dress has to match his European Shoulder bag. Click the image to open in full size.

Never thought about using coolant to keep your fuel from gelling. Click the image to open in full size.

Well guy bought the truck at an auction with 80k on overhaul so I’m guessing more junk Chinese Cummins parts. Had an 870 head crack in 8,000 miles, cummins is eating that one.
