That would have been a much better accident in a European cabover.

I got this email today, think it might have been intended for those Volvo guys with their space age steel cabs?

Back on its wheels.

Before on the left, after on the right.

Waiting on the drag link and shocks yet.

Dropped it 4” at the fender lip. 2.625” of oil pan to axle clearance, and 2” of bumpstop to frame clearance.
New brakes, drums, bearings, seals, ubolts, and needle scaled between the leaves.

Front end is done for now.
Next up is to convert it to a tandem axle with a car hauler Airliner rear suspension.
Before on the left, after on the right.

Looks good. I suggest moving the tanks forward and making it a tandem without making it longer. Make it more euro approved.

That would be correct, so disappointing it being a long hood and then having that POS under the hood.

Ha, that aint happening! I was tickled to find it with the correct amount of breathers, stacks, and with the battery boxes and tanks in the correct locations.

I carry a roll of wire in the truck, mainly because a lot of the places I load cattle out of are poor. I never thought about using it to hold the truck together. I'll have to try it.

When I see something like that, 20 seconds with a wire cutter makes me feel a lot better.

Then 3 hours to rewire, heat shrink, loom, and secure everything......
