I've got a 2007 npr 5.2 that won't drive over 30mph. I'm thinking its a plugged egr. The truck is mainly driven city miles and gets very little highway time to build heat. I took the dpf off and gently blew it out the see if it was plugged. A fair amount of soot came out.
What would be the process for taking the egr off to take a look to see if its plugged up? Do I need to drain the coolant first?
This is a egr truck but pre def. So it has a dpf and egr. Truck has 200k on it.
