Raptor 100

will a raptor 100 kit meant for 2005 and up work on a 2000 vp truck or are they different?

Friend got one. someone else bought it and was wondering if the 2005 would work on his truck.

I would think so. when i bought my truck (2000 vp) it had a raptor 100 on it and when i got my fuel pressure gague hooked up it seaid 78psi...... lol way to much for a vp. so i used the built in regulator to back it down to 30psi and it keeps more then enough fuel to it for a quadzilla adrenillan at 4k rpm.

I would think 30 psi would be a little much vp pump. I know you can buy a different spring for like six bucks. I recently did a p pump swap on my vp truck and soon as i get a chance i was gonna find a bolt same size as the adjuster screw and screw it in to hold the regulator wide open and run a regulator on the return line on the pump.
