With the talk about converting to a NV5600.........
Here's a thread where it went back and forth what held more power:

I've never made 600hp on a truck before, so I don't have a valid opinion on the subject matter. But I was under the impression that NV4500s held quite a bit of power and the NV5600s were bullet proof after a input shaft. Just going by what has been said in the past. Makes me want a Auto.
