speedometer recalibration ?

Did a search on here and could not find info.

My speedo is off due to gear change.

I searched google and found this , is it the only option ?

I have EFI live and do not want to mess up the tuning.

Let me know other options other than above .

EFI cant do it because that is in the TIPM.

best bet is to find an old smarty, you do not have to reflash the ECU

The speedo is done in the abs module. I have open box products if that helps.

I found these for about $160. Seems like the best bang for the buck to fix my problem.

Ive always wondered the details of that flashing process... does that have anything to do with going thru the tipm or does it flash directly to the ABS module? I have always wondered why EFI cant acess it... sure would make a lot of customers happy

just find someone with a smarty and give them 40 bucks to do your ABS update on your truck

EFILive can not update the speedometer.

The tire size should be changed in the tune to get the load calculation correct.

I use a HyperTech speedo recalibrator from Summit Racing.
